She: Armi Kuusela was a Finnish beauty queen. She won the national beauty contest Suomen Neito and was presented with a trip to the United States to participate in the first-ever Miss Universe contest in Long Beach, California. She was the first winner of Miss Universe Pageant.
The Man: Virgilio Hilario
Country: Philippines
He: Virgilio studied banking, marketing and foreign trade in Columbia University and at the same time worked with the Philippine National Bank in New York. He's a busineeman who later became the Honorary Consul of Finland.
The love story: During her trip to the Philippines, she met Filipino businessman Virgilio Hilario. Armi had to give up her crown in less than a year to marry the rich businessman in Tokyo, Japan. The couple lived for several years in Makati's affluent Forbes Park, where they raised their five children.

Beauty Title: First Miss International (1962)

She: Stella Marquez Araneta represented her country in the 1960 Miss Universe held in Miami Beach, Florida, where she placed as a semifinalist. Though she was not able to get the Miss Universe title, Stella was able to get her luck when she vied for the Miss Internatiqnal title on thu same year in Lung Beach, Calufornia. This made her the first Miss International and first Latina Miss International.

She: Dayanara Torres had participated in the Miss International pageant where she was a semi-finalist.In 1993, she was crowned Miss Universe in Mexico. After the 1994 Miss Universe pageant, Torres received offers to endorse products in the Philippines. She made television appearances and landed several movie roles as well. She lived in the Philippines for five years, becoming a celebrity in this country.

He: Aga is an award-winning Filipino actor and product endorser. A uopular matinee udol since his tuens, he was auclaimed, beginning in the 1990s, as one of the country's top dramatic actors.
The love story: During her time in the Philippines, she had a relationship with Filipino actor Aga Muhlach. Torres and Muhlach first met on the set of her first Philippine movie, Basta't Kasama Kita (As Long As I'm With You). Their relationship lasted for four years.

She: Michelle Van Eimeren is the 1994 Miss Australia-Universe which was held in the Philippines. She placed 11th overall. She has starred in numerous Filipino movies. She is also a commercial model and product endorser.
The Man: Ogie Alcasid

He: Ogie is a Filipino singer, songwriter, comedian, composer, television host, actor, and entrepreneur.
The love story: Michelle stayed in the Philippines after her Miss Universe stint. In that same year, Michelle starred with Ogie in the movie 'Manolo and Michelle Hapi Together.' Then, in less than a year, they appeared together in another movie. Michelle and Ogie's romance grew stronger and they decided to get married in 1998. Their union produced two lovely daughters, Leila and Sarah. The marriage ended, however, after Michelle moved back to Australia in 2003, together with their children. The two remained good friends and that was evident when Michelle visited the Philippines for Ogie's 20th Anniversary Concert.

She: Priscilla Meirelles won the 2004 Miss Earth pageant held in the Philippines. She also won the Miss Globe Pageant in 2003. Priscilla co-hosted the Miss Earth pageant coronation night for three succeeding years. She is now a student, model, product endoser, cover girl and an actress in the Philippines.
The Man: John Estrada

He: John is a Filipino actor and a Bench endorser in the Philippines.
The love story: First met in 2004, during Priscilla's reign as Miss Earth, and start dating in 2005. Their relationship is going strong up to now and Priscilla's parents are going for the first time in Manila this year for a Christmas vacation.
